A pure vegetable oil based non-hydrogenated fat without any carrier or additives; MARGO is produced by selective dry fractionation of Palm Oil. A specially developed selective fractionation technique is used to produce the product with a high melting point without any necessity for hydrogenation. This product is flaked for easy handling and is also available in bulk form. The product can be spray-cooled for producing free flowing powder. Since the product is a non-hydrogenated hard fractionation of palm oil, it is free from trans fatty acid and also any traces of Nickel. This product can be declared as a non-hydrogenated as well as a “Transfree” hard fat. MARGO contains 90% saturated fatty acids out of which C16 fatty acids accounts for minimum 75%.

Margo 11 is a pure vegetable oil based non-hydrogenated fat without any carrier or additives. It is produced by selective dry fractionation of palm oil. The product is a hard fat with melting point >57.C. A specially developed selective fractionation technique is used to produce the product with high melting point without any necessity for hydrogenation. This product is flaked for easy handling and also available in bulk. The product can be spray-cooled for producing free flowing powder. Since the product is a non-hydrogenated hard fractionation of palm oil, it is free from trans fatty acid and also any traces to Nickel. This product can be declared as a non-hydrogenated as well as a transfree hard fat. MARGO 11 contains 90% saturated fatty acids out of which C16 fatty acids accounts for minimum 75%. 

INTENDED USE 

Margarine and Shortening – It can be used for the correction and improvement of melting point of margarine and shortening, works as a good structural fat to prevent oiling out of products with a fat mixture containing high levels of liquid oil, and the crystallisation velocity can be improved substantially by incorporation of small amount of Margo 11 in fat mixture. 

Bakery Products - Usage of Margo 11 imparts better stabilization of the dough compared to softer fats. Dry and elastic dough with good fermentation and high tolerance is achieved. Improved performance in the sandwich bread is observed at the usage level of 2-4 % on flour basis. Imparts, better crumb structure, a soft and springy crumb can be achieved. Finer texture of the product is also observed. Up to 15 % fat usage can be reduced without sacrificing baking performance
